Psychopaths can be exciting people to meet. More often than not, they are funny and engaging conversationalists who appear to have exceptional social or professional skills and integrity. They look like everyone else, but ‘better’ and often exude magnetising charm. However, this is a mirage, or a ‘mask’. Psychopaths emulate targeted individuals in order to win their trust as a pre-cursor to exploit it.
PAHRC are committed to reducing the danger posed by high conflict or low conscience individuals by raising awareness of psychopathic traits through offering collaborative, structured programmes. We also aim to creat an environment where participants feel heard, validated and valued. A space where they are recognised as experts in their own experience, yet are supported in recovery from and/or prevention of psychopathic harm by our specialist, dedicated staff.
